October 18, 2015  – The season began with great excitement as the Dover Quartet, 2013 winners of the Banff International String Quartet Competition along with the 2011 Honen’s Piano Competition Pavel Kolesnikov took to the stage. Since then this amazing quartet has won the prestigious Cleveland Quartet award AND the 2015 Hunt Family Award by Lincoln Center.

We are so fortunate to be able to hear this quality of performance in Regina. Thank-you to Cecilian Concert Series for making it possible!”

“The Regina audience was SO fortunate today – to hear such young and extraordinary talents… It was almost overwhelming and extremely inspiring to witness the gift of people who don’t play but breath music in and out… All of them having an individual and unique style, and yet – coming into presence of music as one – so pure, so clean, so vulnerable and powerful at the same time. It was a true blessing to be there tonight! Thank you so much!”
