Piers Adams’ four-piece baroque super-group Red Priest has become an international phenomenon, turning the period instrument movement on its head with its thrilling, no-holdsbarred approach to the genre. It is the only early music group in the world to have been compared in the press to the Rolling Stones, Jackson Pollock, the Marx Brothers, Spike Jones and Cirque du Soleil.
Over the past 20 years, the group has given over 1000 performances on four continents, headlining in some of the most prestigious classical festivals, and appearing extensively in TV and radio.
